First, books 1 and 2 are on sale through Monday! Pick up the kindle books here.
Next, what we’ve all been waiting for . . . .
I had more editors and advanced readers for this book than I have for the other three. They were too many to list in the acknowledgements, but I couldn’t have pulled the end of the trilogy together without them!
These ladies had to put up with the earliest draft. The story was choppy, the motivations unclear, and the ending disconnected. They pointed out the biggest flaws for me to fix.
Half of these readers were offered a physical copy to mark up, comment in, and fold. I received the most variety of comments here, but they helped me find the typos and clarify some settings and scenes.
This good friend helped me tighten the final version of the story. She spotted where I’d repeated myself and where some ideas were in the wrong scenes.
I also want to give a shout-out to my mother, who finally read the first book despite disliking fantasy. Thanks, Mom! Maybe an audiobook will convince you to finish the rest of the trilogy.
